The Village of Alvo Clerk/Treasurer plays a vital role in the smooth functioning of Alvo's local government, ensuring that administrative, financial, and customer service matters are handled accurately, transparently, and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The position of clerk/treasurer is an appointed position that holds office for one year and must be reappointed annually during the December Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees. The clerk/treasurer shall attend the meetings of the board of trustees and keep minutes, records of bonds, payments, claims, and taxes. The clerk/treasurer completes many duties and tasks while being the face the public encounters regularly in the office.
